We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our team.
In this position, you will help shape mobile solutions that enhance user experiences and work alongside skilled professionals in a dynamic setting. You will be involved in projects that make a meaningful impact on user engagement and business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop Android applications prioritizing usability and high performance
- Work closely with colleagues to gather requirements and define project goals
- Create and maintain UI components for smooth and intuitive user interactions
- Improve app speed, efficiency, and reliability through optimization techniques
- Incorporate third-party libraries and services to expand app capabilities
- Take part in code reviews and offer valuable feedback to peers
- Follow Agile practices to ensure timely and quality software delivery
- Guide and mentor junior developers, promoting knowledge sharing within the team
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Android development
- Proficient in Java, Android app components, UI frameworks, developer tools, and workflows
- Deep understanding of Android design patterns, coding standards, Google’s Design Guidelines, and Play Store policies
- Strong knowledge of networking, local data caching, and multitasking in Android apps
- Experience working with third-party libraries and integrating external services
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Leadership abilities and experience collaborating with distributed teams
- English communication skills at B2+ level or higher, both written and spoken
Nice to have
- Experience with mobile development for other platforms, such as Swift for iOS
- Skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for hybrid or cross-platform app development
