Team / Role
As a Senior System Engineer, you will:
- Provide technical support activities for production environment
- Optimize company infrastructure architecture in cloud environment to achieve best network performance
- Debug kernel performance and resolving production issues in real time
- Dive into tricky network or Linux related problems
- Participate in infrastructure architecture design for office expansion purpose
Required skill set
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
- 10 years working experience in Linux production support and cloud environment
- OS kernel tuning (C-group, IRQ affinity, low-latency optimization in Cloud/physical machines)
- Cloud infrastructure management (AWS/ALI/Oracle setup and configuration)
- Infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible, scripting)
- Linux system administration and troubleshooting
- Production environment support and incident response
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management skill set
- Documentation and knowledge transfer capabilities
Good to Have:
- Networking (leased lines, latency optimization)
- Monitoring and alerting systems (setup and enhancement)
- Multi-cloud platform experience (AWS, ALI, Oracle, Azure)
- Performance benchmarking and testing methodologies
- JIRA/Confluence for project management and documentation
- Hardware setup and configuration experience
- Previous experience leading a small team is preferred.
