Key Responsibilities:
Design, provision, and manage AWS infrastructure - EC2, RDS, S3, API Gateway, Lambda, ElastiCache, Cognito, SNS, SES, CloudWatch, WAF
• Configure and maintain VPC - subnets, security groups, NACLs, NAT gateways, routing tables
• Implement and manage Blue/Green deployment strategy via AWS CodePipeline and CodeDeploy
• Set up and maintain Docker containerisation - Dockerfiles, docker-compose, container registry (ECR)
• Configure lower environments - Development, Staging, Production - with environment-specific configurations
• Manage Git repositories and branching strategy - enforce GitFlow, branch protection rules
• Implement Infrastructure as Code - Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
• Configure and manage AWS WAF - OWASP rule sets, IP blocking, rate limiting
• Set up comprehensive monitoring - CloudWatch dashboards, Grafana, alerting, log aggregation
• Implement auto-scaling - EC2 Auto Scaling Groups, RDS read replicas for peak traffic
• Manage SSL/TLS certificates - ACM, certificate rotation, HTTPS enforcement
• Manage IAM - roles, policies, least-privilege access, MFA enforcement
• Conduct regular security audits - vulnerability scanning, patch management
• Manage database backups - RDS automated backups, point-in-time recovery, S3 backup policies
• Configure AWS SES for production email - domain verification, DKIM, SPF, DMARC
• On-call support for production incidents - incident response, root cause analysis, post-mortem
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years of DevOps or cloud infrastructure experience
• AWS certifications - SysOps Administrator, DevOps Engineer, or Solutions Architect strongly preferred
• Experience supporting fintech or payment-grade infrastructure is a strong plus
• Terraform Associate certification is a plus
