Job Summary
A Surveyor makes exact measurements and determine boundaries. Provide relevant to the shape, contour, gravitation, location, elevation or dimension of land or land features on or near the earths surface for engineering and construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports and legal descriptions of surveys to describe, certify and assume liability for work performed.
- Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
- Direct or conduct surveys to establish legal boundaries for properties, based on legal deeds and titles.
- Record the results of surveys, including the shape, contour, location, elevation and dimensions of land or land features.
- Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, property lines and other characteristics of terrain.
- Prepare or supervise preparation of all data, charts, plots, maps, records and documents related to surveys.
- Plan and conduct ground surveys designed to establish baselines, elevations and other geodetic measurements.
- Determine longitudes and latitudes of important features and boundaries in survey areas, using measuring instruments.
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Geodetic Engineering or Civil Engineering course.
- Passed the licensure board exam for Geodetic or Civil Engineering.
- Must have ate least five (5) years of relevant work experience as a Land Surveyor.
- Must be analytical, excellent attention to detail, problem solver, great communication for working with teams and clients, plus physical stamina for fieldworks, and understanding property laws.
- Must be willing to start/join immediately.
- One (1) Full-Time position is available.
