Data Entry Specialist (Tire & Auto Parts)
Location: Remote (Philippines)
Type: Full-Time Contractor (Hiring two total, 35.5 Hours Per Week)
Schedule: Rotating shifts to cover Mon–Fri (7 AM – 7 PM EST) and Sat (7 AM – 6 PM EST)
Role Overview: The Catalog Engine
We are a large-scale tire and auto repair business with 150 stores across the United States. To support our rapid daily operations, we are looking for two detail-oriented Data Entry Specialists in the Philippines to manage our cloud-based Point of Sale (POS) system and parts catalog.
Your primary mission is to process incoming requests from our stores, ensuring that parts are added to our catalog with 100% accuracy regarding pricing and specifications. This is a high-volume, "engine-room" role that requires focus, reliability, and the ability to handle repetitive administrative tasks with precision.
Key Responsibilities I. Data Entry & Catalog Management
POS Maintenance: Utilize our cloud-based browser POS system to add, update, and manage items in our extensive parts catalog.
Request Processing: Receive forms from our 150 stores, identify the required parts, and input critical fields including list price, wholesale price, and technical specifications.
High-Volume Execution: Manage up to 250 requests per day and growing (averaging ~20 per hour during peak morning spikes).
II. Documentation & Accuracy
Data Verification: Cross-reference incoming store requests against the existing master catalog to prevent duplicates and ensure pricing consistency.
Quality Control: Maintain meticulous attention to detail to ensure that every part number and price point entered is correct, as these directly impact store billing and margins.
Who You Are Experience & Background
Proven Data Entry Skills: Previous experience in high-volume data entry, clerical admin, or virtual assistant roles.
Tech Literacy: Comfortable working in cloud-based software and browser-based systems.
Reliability: You are someone who finds "mindless admin" satisfying and can maintain a high level of accuracy throughout an 8-hour shift.
Skills & Competencies
Attention to Detail: You spot the difference between similar part numbers and ensure every decimal point is in the right place.
Communication: Clear written English skills for internal coordination with the corporate office.
Automotive Knowledge (Plus): While not required, familiarity with automotive parts or the tire industry is a significant advantage.
Time Management: Ability to handle morning spikes in volume efficiently without compromising quality.
Commitment & Schedule
Hours: This role requires a consistent commitment of 35.5 hours per week.
Coverage: You will work as part of a two-person team to provide coverage during our US operating hours:
Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM EST
Saturday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST
Why This Role?
Stable Industry: Work for a well-established US brand with a massive physical footprint.
Clear Processes: We provide the forms, the catalog, and the training; you provide the execution.
Long-Term Opportunity: We are looking for a permanent addition to our back-office team to help us scale as we continue to grow our store count.
