Role Overview
The Finance Associate Manager – Project Controllership is responsible for overseeing the financial control, reporting, and compliance of CAPEX-related activities. This role ensures accurate project financial management, timely closing, and adherence to governance standards. It also supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and control effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or any related business course; CPA license preferred
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in project or construction accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook), with strong data handling and analytical skills
- Experience with SAP (FICO, MM, PS, or Asset Accounting modules) is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and communicate effectively
Key Responsibilities
- Review, validate, and process CAPEX-related transactions in alignment with approved budgets and project commitments
- Administer, monitor, and report on CAPEX budgets to ensure proper tracking and utilization
- Ensure timely, complete, and accurate CAPEX financial closing, including coordination of dependencies and resolution of issues
- Prepare and maintain CAPEX-related financial reports, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements
- Implement and maintain effective controls and governance practices to support audit readiness and compliance
- Manage operational housekeeping of CAPEX-related accounts, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial records
- Support and drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and strengthen financial controls
