Job Overview

You’ll be the voice that connects homeowners with the roofing help they need. As a B2C appointment setter, you’ll make high-volume outbound calls to residential prospects across Los Angeles, identifying homeowners interested in roof inspections and repairs. This isn’t just cold calling – you’re providing a valuable service by connecting people who need roofing work with qualified local contractors. You’ll work in a performance-driven environment where your communication skills directly impact both homeowner satisfaction and your earning potential through substantial incentive opportunities.


Job Highlights

Schedule: Mondays to Fridays, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (Pacific Standard Time, 40 hours per week)

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor


Responsibilities

  • Make outbound cold calls to residential homeowners using comprehensive contact lists covering the Los Angeles area
  • Follow provided scripts to inquire about roof problems and interest in professional roof inspections
  • Position calls as independent lead generation service connecting homeowners with local roofing contractors
  • Collect detailed contact information and project details from interested prospects
  • Record successful leads in Google Docs and spreadsheets for seamless client handoff
  • Maintain consistent daily call volume targets and appointment setting metrics
  • Participate in daily team meetings to review performance and strategy
  • Track call outcomes and lead quality to optimize conversion rates
  • Collaborate directly with client leadership on performance improvements and process refinements


Requirements:

  • Excellent English communication skills with clear, professional phone presence for residential calling
  • Proven experience in appointment setting, outbound sales, or B2C cold calling environments
  • Comfortable making high-volume cold calls and handling rejection professionally
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, Google Docs, and basic spreadsheet management
  • Ability to follow provided scripts while maintaining natural, conversational flow
  • Strong organizational skills for accurate lead tracking and data entry
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and quiet, professional work environment
  • Bonus if you have experience in construction, home services, or roofing industry
  • It helps if you’re comfortable with performance-based compensation structures
