Job Summary
The Project Accountant is responsible for managing short-term and long-term cash flow forecasting in support of the project development and construction. This role supports strategic financial decision-making by ensuring the company maintains optimal cash levels to meet operational, investment, and financing needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Cash Flow Forecasting & Planning
- Maintain project cost monitoring and forecast to complete
- Develop and maintain weekly and monthly cash flow estimate
- Partner with business units to gather inputs for cash projections
- Support the Project’s hedging strategy by providing needed information/documents
- Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Completion of budgeting processes from kick-off to approval (Terra, SP Subs)
- Timely submission of management reports - Monthly variance reports & Quarterly LE/CCNI reports
- Budget consolidation
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights
- Support strategic decision-making with financial modeling
- Prepare financial reports for senior leadership
- Monitor KPIs and financial performance metrics
- Analyze revenue trends, cost structures, and profitability
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- MBA, CFA, CPA
- 2–5 years of experience in finance, FP&A, treasury, or cash management.
- Experience in cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis.
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
