Job Summary
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for end-to-end supply chain, procurement, and commercial management with a strong emphasis on EPC, O&M, and large-scale service and construction contracts. The role leads sourcing strategy, contract negotiations, vendor management, and cost optimization for multi-million-dollar projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines, quality standards, and organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Supply Chain & Procurement
- Develop and implement supply chain and procurement strategies for EPC and O&M projects.
- Lead sourcing activities for major equipment, construction works, long-term service agreements, and operational contracts.
- Establish category strategies for EPC works, O&M services, spares, and critical equipment.
EPC & O&M Contract Negotiation
- Lead commercial and contractual negotiations for EPC, O&M, LTSA, and framework agreements valued from millions to hundreds of millions.
- Manage contract structures including lump sum turnkey (LSTK), EPCM, BOO/BOT, and long-term O&M agreements.
- Negotiate pricing, payment milestones, performance guarantees, LDs, warranties, risk allocation, and termination clauses.
Commercial & Contract Management
- Draft, review, and manage contractual documentation including RFQs, RFPs, bid evaluations, and contract awards.
- Ensure contracts comply with corporate policies, legal requirements, and project financing conditions.
- Monitor contract execution, variations, claims, change orders, and dispute resolution.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Develop and manage strategic supplier and contractor relationships.
- Conduct supplier performance evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as the primary commercial interface with EPC contractors, O&M service providers, OEMs, and consultants.
Operations & O&M Support
- Support procurement of spares, consumables, and long-lead items for operational assets.
- Negotiate service-level agreements (SLAs) and performance-based O&M contracts.
- Ensure continuity of supply and cost efficiency for operational plants and facilities.
Risk, Compliance & Governance
- Identify and mitigate commercial, contractual, and supply chain risks.
- Ensure compliance with internal governance, audit, and regulatory requirements.
- Support tender governance, approval processes, and contract audits.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or Commercial Management (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of supply chain and procurement experience in energy, power, EPC, or infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record in negotiating EPC and O&M contracts and managing multi-million-dollar agreements.
- Strong understanding of project delivery models and international contracting practices.
