Job Summary
The Environmental Officer will support the Environmental Head in ensuring environmental compliance, mitigating environmental impacts, and achieving sustainability performance across the Company's renewables energy operations.
Job Responsibilities
Environmental Management System
- Support implementation, maintenance and improvement of the ISO 14001
- Support in Environment Aspect-Impact Assessment
- Support the internal and external audits
Regulatory Compliance and Permits
- Oversee and assist for the timely acquisition and renewal of environmental permits
- Act as liaison with environmental regulatory agencies
- Ensure all renewable energy operations in full compliance
Waste and Resource Sustainability
- Assist in implementing comprehensive waste management programs, including hazardous waste storage and solar panel recycling
- Assist in implementing resource efficiency measures for water and energy conservation across corporate and site facilities
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental and Sanitary Engineering, or related field
- Must be accredited Pollution Control Officer (PCO)
- At least 4-7 years of work experience in Environmental management.
- With background in audits, environmental regulations
