Position Summary
The Business Manager Director is an individual contributor role which functions as a senior strategic advisor supporting the Executive Director of Custody Clearance and Settlement. Operating with broad visibility across priorities, this role is responsible for translating business priorities into executable plans, preparing senior-level materials for internal committees and business reviews, and ensuring strong governance, transparency, and accountability across the organization. The Business Manager partners closely with senior leadership to provide data-driven insights, anticipates leadership needs, surfaces risks, and enables informed decision-making. Acting as a connective hub across functions, this role strengthens alignment, execution discipline, and accountability in support of enterprise outcomes.
Specific Responsibilities
- Translate business priorities and strategic objectives into actionable execution plans and track progress against key initiatives.
- Prepare senior-level materials, including executive presentations, briefing notes, and talking points for internal committees and business reviews.
- Develop and maintain data-driven performance frameworks, including operational KPI dashboards, metrics, and reporting.
- Support volume forecasting, capacity analysis, and workforce planning to anticipate future needs and risks.
- Proactively analyze trends and performance drivers, anticipate senior management questions, and provide clear, concise insights.
- Assist with documentation, procedural governance updates, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Improve data accuracy and reduce manual reporting efforts through process enhancements and automation where appropriate.
- Coordinate meeting logistics, prepare agendas, capture action items, and follow up on deliverables.
- Support budget tracking, headcount management, and financial oversight activities.
- Partner collaboratively across functions to ensure alignment, execution discipline, and timely delivery of outcomes.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience in business management, strategy, or operations roles
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Talents Needed For Success

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
- Demonstrated experience preparing executive presentations and senior-level briefings.
- Proficiency with KPI dashboards and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
- Knowledge of custody, clearance, and settlement operations is a plus.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.

- Experience with workforce planning, budgeting, and headcount tracking.
