The
Junior HR Assistant will support the Human Resources department in various administrative and operational tasks. This role ensures smooth HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and daily HR coordination. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to grow a career in Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in end-to-end recruitment activities such as job posting, resume screening, interview coordination, and candidate communication.
- Facilitate pre-employment processing, onboarding, and orientation of new employees.
- Maintain and update employee 201 files, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Prepare HR-related documents including contracts, memos, reports, and other employment records.
- Support attendance monitoring, leave filing, and other timekeeping documentation.
- Encode and manage employee information in HR systems or databases.
- Provide administrative support through filing, scanning, routing, and organizing HR documents.
- Coordinate with other departments for HR requirements and document submissions.
- Assist in organizing HR meetings, orientations, and employee engagement activities.
- Uphold confidentiality and accuracy of employee and company data.
- Perform any other tasks that may be assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Preferably with 6 months to 1 year of experience in HR or administrative work (internship experience accepted).
- Knowledge of Philippine labor laws, HR processes, and best practices.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Detail-oriented, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential information responsibly.
