The successful candidate will function as technical resource to ensure the IP Network Design, Planning, Rollout, Optimization, Managing & handling budgeting / financials disciplines of the unit and requirement analysis according to network strategy. The person in this position will work to integrate technologies, network management tools and converged infrastructure.
Responsabilities
- Design, Planning, Implementation, Troubleshooting and Optimization of IP Core, SDN network (Huawei Cloud Stack HCS , Nokia Cloud Nuage), Firewalls (Eudemon – Huawei, SRX- Juniper), Routers (NetEngine – Huawei, ZXR10 – ZTE), Switches (CloudEngine – Huawei, ZXR10 – ZTE), EMS (NCE Cloud Fabric, SecoManager, HiSec – Huawei)
- Network design evolution towards latest technologies based on NFV, CNF and SDN etc.
- Ensure the timely forecast and capitalization of the projects, keeping in view the effective forecasting, cost control and engagement of procurement process.
- Design and develop architecture diagrams/artefacts for new solutions
- Prepare and update high and low-level design for all IP/SDN/Firewall network implementation & expansion projects.
- Scheduling and verifying critical activities like rollout, expansions and upgrades in core networks along with ensuring proper test plans.
- Traffic report analysis in order to identify KPI deviation and capacity issues and initiate necessary actions to address those issues.
- Responsible to coordinate and collaborate with Stakeholder and Vendor for network planning and subsequent implementation
- Implementation activities include but are not limited to configuration loading, software and hardware ATP, hardware/software updates, new functionality or system integration, link/traffic migration, and re-parenting.
- Implementation activities include but are not limited to configuration loading, software and hardware upgrades, software updates, new functionality or system integration, subscriber/link migration, and re-parenting.
- Deep dive into technical design discussions to ensure E2E IP Network Solution Optimization, resolution of critical issues and simplifying design complexities.
- Implementing SRv6, EVPN, VxLAN, IGP, BGP, MPLS, ACLs, IPS, IDS, NAT on the Mobile Packet Backbone.
- Performing Integration of IP network with Core nodes, VAS and billing systems etc.
Requirments
- Bachelors/Masters’ in Engineering/Electronics/Telecom/Computer or equivalent.
- Working experience of 5+ years in Mobile network of Network Planning, Design, Implementation & Optimization of following network elements I. IP Routers & Switches (Huawei & ZTE) II. Network Security elements Firewalls, DDOS, EDR/NDR etc. (Huawei) III. SDN (Huawei, Nokia) IV. Network Management Platforms like NCE Fabric, HiSec etc. (Huawei, ZTE).
- Experience of 5+ years in large scale data/voice network & security planning, implementation & optimization.
- Excellent understanding of Network Architecture, Design, Planning, Implementation, & Optimization.
- Excellent and hands-on (preferred) experience of SDN network (Nuage & Huawei Cloud Stack HCS), Firewalls (Eudemon – Huawei, SRX- Juniper), IP Routers (Net Engine – Huawei, ZXR10 – ZTE), IP Switches (CloudEngine – Huawei, ZXR10 – ZTE), EMS (NCE Cloud Fabric, SecoManager, HiSec – Huawei)
- Preferably prepared the high and low-level design for all IP/SDN/Firewall network implementation & expansion projects
- Handling IP network BOQs, quotations and solution verification with concerned vendors till handover to the operations team.
- Good knowledge and understanding of Mobile technologies (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G etc) is mandatory.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of Network Firewalls, Security Policies, NAT, Traffic Filtering, QOS, Routing, Inter-zone traffic flow, Security Hardening
- Basic knowledge and command line experience of Linux and opensource applications.
- Pro-active approach towards identification & rectification of challenging area in the network. 10. Decision making keeping in view both short term as well as long term company interests in mind.
- Positive attitude towards understanding of company policies and management demands.
- Cooperate actively with IT, Commercial and suppliers in carrying out new service and platform introduction, implementation and integration.
- Willing to adapt to stringent timelines to meet objectives.
- Strong knowledge in network management systems and security platform.
Good to Have
- Certifications HCIE (Datacom, Cloud, Security) preferred
- Any certification e.g., Linux, Oracle etc.
- Work Experience on Huawei & multi-vendor Platforms
