Provide HSSE technical support and consultation to ensure compliance with legal, company and customer HSSE requirements
Localize and deploy of Nokia HSSE management policies, procedures and programs
Monitor the security landscape in operational areas and make recommendations including but not limited to site security, staff personal security measures, the deployment of field teams and potential future projects
Implement relevant NSB HSSE requirements, set and lead local HSSE objectives
Review or as necessary draft emergency and contingency plans, lead the deployment of emergency response and crisis management within NSB Philippines.
Manage contact with the appropriate local HSSE agencies, form liaison with security forces, law enforcement and other local influencers
Form and maintain effective working relationships with project teams, in-country leadership teams and regional HSSE personalities
Track and record relevant HSSE incidents and trends within operational areas, respond to HSSE incidents and conduct investigations as required
Identify gaps in existing HSSE processes and implement solutions, conduct audits of facilities and processes
Act as a focal point and encourage a culture of safety and security within the organization and to sub-contracted parties through training and awareness sessions
Provides responses to local customer HSSE requests and supports Tenders and Bids & Proposals, maintain the EHS certifications to meet business requirements
Substantial background within the field of health, safety and security management
Relevant qualifications and certifications, DOLE registered safety officer (SO3 is required and SO4 is preferred).
Familiar with national health, safety and security laws and regulations, as well as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management system standards
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino
Excellent skill with Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and master relevant information technology (i.e. Intranet, Email, Teams)
Able to develop working relationships and influence outcomes both internal and external stakeholders, including the government authorities
Good project management skills
Self-driven and good team-player
5+ years working experience in multinational companies, responsible for health, safety and security management. 8+ years working experience is preferred
