A business development career in Sales Enablement and Proposals, within the Business Enablement practice at PwC Canada, will provide you with the opportunity to focus on positioning a distinctive PwC brand in the marketplace and drive long-term revenue growth for the firm. We are looking for a Proposal Manager to join our national proposal management team. The Proposal Manager will play a key role collaborating with pursuit teams in various lines of service, industries and regions, working closely with our team’s proposal specialists onshore and offshore, and contributing to the development of high-quality, impactful, winning proposals. The successful candidate will offer comprehensive proposal management support, provide pursuit guidance to achieve compliance, review proposals to be concise and compelling, and may also be asked to help teams prepare for oral presentations.

- Manage the complexity of multiple proposals, including Government & Public Sector proposals, with a focus on project management and quality assurance, managing the proposal process from planning kick-off meetings to submitting final deliverables
- Develop proposal management plans and monitor overall progress
- Facilitate or help coordinate kick-off, solutioning and win themes sessions
- Ensure compliance with RFP mandatory requirements
- Help edit or write compelling value propositions and assist client service teams to articulate clear competitive differentiation
- Drive adoption of the firm’s brand guidelines and standard sales and business development methodology
- Continuously grow internal firm relationships to expand your network and understanding of the firm’s capabilities

- Solid experience in proposal management and new business pursuits, including experience in a consulting and/or professional services environment – experience in an accounting firm or financial services environment preferred
- Interest in upskilling for a digital world that includes AI solutions, and openness to learning new tools and adapting new ways of working
- Knowledge of the entire proposal process, and the ability to manage engagements while facing competing priorities and strict deadlines
- Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills
- Adaptability and proven ability to prioritize activities and produce high quality work, and stay focused in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
- Experience in preparing teams for oral/finalist presentations is an asset

The salary range for this position is $80,100 - $133,600. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
