Senior Solution Architect (Microservices & Platform Architecture)

Role Overview

We are building a scalable, multi-product ecosystem where individual applications function as independent

microservices integrated into a unified platform with Single Sign-On (SSO).

We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect to design, govern, and evolve this architecture ensuring scalability,security, and long-term maintainability as we expand nationally and into global markets.

Senior Solution Architect (Microservices & Platform)

 Lead architecture design for a multi-product ecosystem built on microservices, integrated into a unified

platform with Single Sign-On (SSO)

 Define scalable, secure, and high-performance system architecture to support nationwide and global

expansion

 Establish standards for APIs, service communication (REST, gRPC, event-driven), and data flow across

services

 Design and implement identity and access management (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT)

 Drive cloud infrastructure decisions (AWS preferred), ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and cost

efficiency

 Architect

 Multi-tenant systems to support multiple products and user bases under a single platform

 Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and DevOps to translate business needs into technical

solutions

 Conduct architecture reviews and guide teams on best practices, scalability, and system design

 Balance speed, scalability, and maintainability while making critical technical decisions

 Own and evolve the long-term architecture roadmap for the platform

 Solid understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and API gateways

 Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)

Platform Governance & Scalability Experience

 Proven experience designing and scaling large distributed platforms serving high-volume users and

multiple products

 Define architectural governance, engineering standards, service ownership models, and system

documentation practices

 Design strategies for observability, centralized logging, monitoring, disaster recovery, and fault

isolation

 Architect secure tenant isolation, API governance, service discovery, and interoperability across

platform services

 Ensure platform readiness for regional and international scale, including GCC and US market

expansion

 Drive technical decision-making around performance optimization, resilience, scalability, and long-

term maintainability

Qualifications and Tools

• Programming languages - Python, Node.js, or equivalent backend stack

• Git - branching strategies (GitFlow), code review, PR management

• CI/CD - AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy or equivalent

• Monitoring - CloudWatch, Grafana, Datadog or equivalent

• API testing - Postman, Insomnia

• AI-assisted development tools - familiarity with Claude, Cursor, Copilot

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software architecture and cloud infrastructure

• Proven experience architecting fintech, or payment-grade systems

• Experience with PCI-DSS compliant architecture is strongly preferred

• AWS certifications - Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent strongly preferred
