Senior Software Engineer (React / TypeScript) Location: Mandaluyong, Metro Manila

Role Overview We are looking for a
Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) to design, build, and maintain high-quality software solutions. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver scalable applications aligned with business needs and modern technology strategies. This role requires strong expertise in
React, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, and frontend architecture, along with a solid understanding of backend integration and DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities: Software Development & Delivery - Design, develop, test, and deploy modern web applications
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define technical solutions
- Build prototypes and iterate based on feedback
System Maintenance & Enhancements - Maintain and enhance existing systems, including bug fixes and feature improvements
- Provide technical support and guidance to stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for innovation and optimization
Solution Design & Architecture - Contribute to system architecture and frontend design decisions
- Optimize performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Apply best practices in modern frontend engineering
Process & Knowledge Sharing - Follow development processes and maintain documentation
- Share knowledge and mentor team members
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in software development
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Customer-focused mindset with good English communication skills
Technical Skills & Requirements: JavaScript / TypeScript - Strong expertise in TypeScript and modern JavaScript
- Deep understanding of:
- Strong typing, generics, interfaces
- Advanced TypeScript concepts
Frontend Frameworks & Ecosystem - Extensive experience with React (or similar frameworks)
- Strong knowledge of:
- React Hooks, Context API, component lifecycle
- State management (Redux, Recoil, Zustand, etc.)
- Routing (React Router)
- Data fetching (TanStack Query / React Query)
- Forms and testing utilities
Frontend Architecture & Patterns - Experience with:
- Functional programming and async patterns
- Design patterns (observer, factory, singleton)
- Reactive programming principles
- Ability to build scalable, reusable, and maintainable frontend systems
Styling & UI Development - Hands-on experience with:
- Tailwind CSS
- Styled Components / Emotion
- CSS Modules
- UI libraries (ShadCN/UI, Radix UI)
- Ability to implement modern, responsive, and maintainable UI designs
Form Handling & Validation - Tools and frameworks such as:
- React Hook Form
- Formik
- Zod (schema validation)
Build Tools & Performance Optimization - Experience with:
- Webpack, Vite, Rollup, Babel, tsup, SWC
- Knowledge of:
- Code splitting, tree shaking
- ES6 transpilation
- Performance optimization and caching strategies
Code Quality & Standards - Proficiency with:
- Strong commitment to code quality, consistency, and best practices
Monorepo & Project Scaling - Experience with:
- Ability to manage large-scale codebases and shared libraries
Node.js & Backend Integration - Strong understanding of:
- Node.js core concepts (event loop, non-blocking I/O, streams, buffers)
- Package management (npm, Yarn, pnpm)
- Experience with:
- Server-side rendering (Next.js, Nuxt.js, or custom SSR)
