Key Responsibilities
- 12+ years administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) in Production environments
- Manage day-to-day Unix/Linux server infrastructure with primary focus on Red Hat Linux
- Perform system configuration, account administration, OS maintenance, and lifecycle support
- Ensure platform availability across enterprise infrastructure environments
- Support monitoring, patching, and vulnerability remediation per operational requirements
- Experience with OpenShift and enterprise Kubernetes distributions
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters
- Cloud platforms experience (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure) and Linux systems administration
- Wintel Support: Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP services management
- Handle DR, data center moves, capacity management on Wintel platforms
- Collaborate with service providers to minimize infrastructure service interruptions
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Primary: Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Administration
- Core: Unix/Linux server infrastructure management, system configuration, account administration, OS maintenance
- Secondary: OpenShift, Kubernetes, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, Wintel Support, Active Directory, Group Policies (GPO), DNS, DHCP
- 12+ years production RHEL experience in enterprise environments
- Strong Kubernetes/OpenShift deployment and management experience
- Multi-cloud platform administration (AWS/Google Cloud Platform/Azure)
- Wintel infrastructure support capabilities
