Description & Requirements

Who we are looking for



  • Up to 2 years of experience (or strong internship / trainee experience) in IT operations, application support, or database‑related areas.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including understanding of databases, schemas; usersbasic querying and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Windows Server environments.
  • Fundamental understanding of virtualization concepts (VMware or Hyper‑V).
  • Interest in enterprise applications and their lifecycle (installation, upgrades, maintenance).
  • Willingness to learn database administration and application operations.

Additional Advantages:

  • Basic exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS or GCP as an advantage).
  • Awareness of monitoring tools or system logs.
  • Familiarity with ITIL concepts (Incident, Problem, Change).

Personal & Professional Skills:

  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
  • Analytical mindset and basic problem‑solving ability.
  • Team‑oriented attitude with openness to feedback.
  • University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in IT or a related field (or near completion).

Your future role

Database Administration

  • Install, configure, administer, and maintain SQL Server databases across environments – based on documentation
  • SQL Server basic administration tasks
  • Database monitoring
  • Basic performance checks
  • Learn and apply standard operating procedures for database maintenance.
  • Participate in documentation and knowledge‑base updates.

Business Applications Operations (2nd Level Support)

  • Support installation and upgrade activities of enterprise applications under supervision
  • Perform day‑to‑day application support tasks
  • Investigate and resolve less complex incidents escalated from 1st‑level support
  • Assist in analyzing application logs, system logs, and monitoring alerts
  • Escalate complex issues to senior team members with proper analysis and documentation
  • System administration (Windows) in regards of supported application including user management, system monitoring and troubleshooting

Operations, Monitoring & Incident Management

  • Monitor applications and databases using existing monitoring tools
  • React to alerts and support incident resolution according to procedures
  • Participate in incident bridges for major issues as a supporting role
  • Learn structured root cause analysis techniques

Change, Optimization & Continuous Improvement

  • Support implementation of approved IT system changes
  • Participate in application upgrades and migrations as part of the team
  • Follow change management and deployment standards
  • Suggest improvements to documentation and operational processes

Collaboration & Documentation

  • Create and update technical documentation, runbooks, and guides
  • Cooperate closely with:
  • Senior Business Applications Operations team members
  • Infrastructure Operations teams
  • Incident Management teams
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal stakeholders.
