Overview
Maintain the financial integrity of a US-based company through meticulous record-keeping and detailed reporting. This role offers an opportunity for a QuickBooks Bookkeeper to manage essential accounting functions independently while ensuring all books remain accurate and current.
Schedule:
- Part-time (20 hours per week) Monday - Friday 10 - 6 PST Flexible
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records within QuickBooks
- Prepare financial reports and summaries for business review
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with US financial standards and reporting requirements
Requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency in QuickBooks with hands-on experience in a US-based business environment
- Strong understanding of general bookkeeping principles and financial record management
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial data entry and reconciliation
- Experience working with US-based companies and familiarity with US accounting practices
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently
