Role Description
We are looking for a Music Industry Specialist who can research, analyze, and manage music-related data while supporting content optimization across streaming platforms and digital music services.
Key Responsibilities
Research and analyze artist and music-related data
Manage and organize large sets of music metadata
Optimize music information and streaming content accuracy
Work with YouTube and music streaming platforms
Maintain quality, accuracy, and consistency of music data
Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment
Support troubleshooting and problem-solving tasks related to music data
Qualifications
Required:
Completed at least 2 years in college with no back subjects
Preferred
Minimum 1.5 years work experience in the Music Industry
Degree in Music Performance, Audio Engineering, Music Business, Music Industry Studies, Composition, or related field
12 years experience with streaming platforms
12 years experience in music data management
Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical and research skills
Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets
Strong knowledge of music, artists, and streaming platforms
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong understanding of YouTube and music streaming services
Team player who can thrive in a collaborative environment
Preferred Knowledge
Understanding of record labels, music eras, and genre distinctions
Familiarity with genres such as Hip-Hop, R&B, Rock & Metal, EDM, Alternative & Indie
Knowledge of music producers, mixers, composers, and multi-instrumentalists
