Cultural Content Reviewer (AI Training)

AI systems are only as culturally aware as the people who train them. We're looking for Cultural Content Reviewers from every corner of the globe to help ensure AI-generated content feels authentic, respectful, and genuinely relevant to the communities it serves.
You don't need a degree in cultural studies. You need to know your culture — its customs, its humor, its sensitivities, its unwritten rules — better than any algorithm ever could. If you can spot what an outsider would miss, this role is for you.

What You'll Do
- Review AI-generated content for cultural accuracy, sensitivity, and relevance to your region
- Flag material that is inappropriate, outdated, stereotyping, or likely to cause offense
- Provide regional context and suggest culturally resonant alternatives
- Evaluate whether translated or localized content feels natural and authentic to local audiences
- Assess content across formats including text, image descriptions, and AI recommendations
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Deep, lived familiarity with the culture, customs, and social norms of your region
- Able to identify cultural blind spots and nuances that outsiders would overlook
- Strong written communication skills in English
- Thoughtful, open-minded, and consistent in your evaluations
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow structured review guidelines
- No academic background in cultural studies required — lived experience is what matters
Nice to Have
- Experience in localization, translation, journalism, or content moderation
- Familiarity with AI tools or content evaluation workflows
- Awareness of regional sub-cultures or generational differences within your area
