Job Overview
As our Business Systems Support Analyst, you will provide day-to-day support, administration, and continuous improvement across core business systems. This role ensures users are supported effectively, issues are resolved promptly, and critical platforms operate reliably across the business.
The role is hands-on and operational, working closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and the IT team to maintain business continuity and improve system usability
Key Accountabilities
Strategic
- Identify recurring system and process issues and recommend practical improvements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across core business systems
- Assist in improving workflows and reducing manual processes
- Contribute to system optimisation, usability improvements, and efficiency gains
- Maintain and improve documentation, including procedures, user guides, and knowledge articles
- Highlight risks, recurring faults, and improvement opportunities to the IT team
- Support testing and rollout of system enhancements and changes
- Ensure support activities align with governance, controls, and change management processes
Operational
- Provide first and second level support across core business systems,s including Oracle NetSuite and associated applications
- Troubleshoot system issues, user errors, workflow problems, and data anomalies
- Manage incidents, service requests, and escalations through to resolution
- Liaise with external vendors and support partners where required
- Maintain users, roles, permissions, and access controls
- Support configuration changes, es including forms, fields, saved searches, dashboards, and reporting
- Develop, maintain, and distribute operational reports and dashboards (including writing, sharing, amending, and training users on reporting processes)
- Assist with master data integration,ity including customers, suppliers, items, and pricing
- Monitor integrations, scheduled jobs, and system alerts
- Provide responsive support to business functions, including operations, finance, customer service, warehouse, and sales
- Deliver clear communication on incidents, priorities, and resolutions
- Support onboarding and training of new users
- Maintain issue logs and support metrics
Essential
Key Skills and Experience
- 3+ years in Business Systems Support / Applications Support / ERP Support role.
- Experience supporting Oracle NetSuite.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability.
- Experience managing users, permissions, reporting, and master data.
- Strong communication skills with non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritise competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable
- Experience in wholesale, distribution, manufacturing, retail, or logistics.
- Exposure to WMS, CRM, HRIS.
- Curiosity and willingness to adopt new technologies,ogies including automation and AI, tools where commercially beneficial
- SQL / reporting / Power BI exposure.
- Process improvement mindset.
- Experience working with external vendors.

Qualification
- Formal qualifications in IT, Information Systems, or a related discipline are well regarded but not essential.
- 3+ years’ experience in Business Systems Support, Applications Support, ERP Support, or similar role.
- Experience supporting business-critical platforms such as Oracle NetSuite, CRM, WMS, finance, HRIS, or operational systems.
- Demonstrated experience resolving system issues, supporting users, and improving processes in a NetSuite environment
- Strong problem-solving, stakeholder communication, and prioritisation skills.
- Relevant certifications, vendor training, or equivalent practical experience are highly regarded.
