Role Overview
The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse and distribution operations to ensure operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, service excellence, and compliance with company standards. The role leads warehouse teams and drives continuous improvement initiatives to support business growth and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch
- Ensure operational KPIs and service levels are consistently achieved
- Monitor inventory accuracy and warehouse productivity
- Lead warehouse teams, supervisors, and support staff to achieve operational goals
- Implement and improve warehouse processes, controls, and operational standards
- Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, and commercial teams to support business requirements
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational policies
- Analyze operational performance and identify process improvement opportunities
- Support warehouse systems, automation, and technology initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or related field
- 5–8 years of experience in warehouse or distribution operations
- Experience in retail, FMCG, logistics, or high-volume warehouse environments
- Strong leadership, people management, and operational planning skills
- Experience managing warehouse KPIs and operational performance
- Proficiency in WMS, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
