Job Summary
HII Mission Technologies seeks an innovative
AI-Enabled Solutions Developer to join our enterprise Program Management Office (ePMO). This role leverages modern AI-assisted development tools to rapidly build and deploy full-stack web applications, mobile applications, and integrated business solutions supporting defense contract management operations. The position focuses on developing and enhancing the Program Management Portal while collaborating with program managers to translate operational requirements into functional applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Program Management Portal using modern web frameworks and database technologies.
- Build cross-platform mobile applications using React Native or similar frameworks.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate solution delivery.
- Translate business requirements into application architecture and functional specifications.
- Design and implement database schemas, APIs, and integration points with existing business systems.
- Conduct rapid prototyping to validate concepts with stakeholders.
- Debug, test, and refine AI-generated code to ensure quality and performance standards.
- Collaborate with program managers to identify automation opportunities and integrate with enterprise tools (Smartsheet, financial systems).
- Plan system deployment and ensure software compliance standards are met.
- Evaluate interfaces between hardware/software and overall system characteristics.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field (2 years experience required) OR Master's degree in related field (0 years experience required).
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in software development or technical solution delivery.
- Proficiency with modern web development frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).
- Experience with mobile application development (React Native, Flutter, or native iOS/Android).
- Working knowledge of database design and SQL.
- Familiarity with API development and integration (REST, GraphQL).
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points)
- 5+ years of software development experience across multiple platforms.
- Experience with Python, Java, or similar backend languages.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with low-code/no-code platforms (Retool, Smartsheet, Power Platform).
- Background in defense contracting or government services.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
