Job Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Atleast 1 year of experience in electrical or mechanical manufacturing.
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience in panel board manufacturing or electrical equipment fabrication.
  • Proficient in ISO standards, quality assurance protocols, and documentation practices.
  • Skilled in inspection tools and techniques (visual, dimensional, functional testing).
  • Able to read and interpret basic technical drawings and work instructions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Capable of coordinating effectively with production and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Quality Inspection and Testing
  • Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspection of electrical components and assemblies.
  • Verify conformity of products based on technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Perform functional testing of electrical systems, wiring, breakers, panels, and related components.
  • Identify defects, non-conformities, and deviations from standards.
  • Documentation and Reporting
  • Record inspection results and maintain accurate quality control reports.
  • Document defects, inconsistencies, and corrective actions taken.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, or project-based quality reports for submission to the Quality Supervisor or Management.
  • Compliance and Standards
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards, electrical codes, and safety regulations.
  • Support implementation of ISO standards or other quality management systems, if applicable.
  • Follow proper testing procedures and safety protocols at all times.
  • Coordination and Communication
  • Coordinate with production, engineering, and warehouse teams regarding quality issues.
  • Report recurring defects and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Assist in root cause analysis for product failures or customer complaints.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
  • Recommend improvements in production methods, materials, or testing procedures.
  • Support training efforts related to quality standards and workmanship.
  • Safety and Housekeeping
  • Ensure proper handling of electrical components and testing equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the quality inspection area.
  • Follow all occupational health and safety regulations.
