As a
Data Automations Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions that streamline data workflows and reporting processes. You will work closely with the Data Solutions and Product teams to optimize operations, reduce manual effort, and improve data quality and efficiency across internal and client-facing systems.
Core Responsibilities
Automation and Programming
- Develop, maintain, and optimize automated scripts, tools, or applications to streamline manual workflows.
- Create APIs or data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading data between platforms (e.g., Google Sheets, Looker Studio, internal databases).
- Implement data validation and quality assurance scripts to detect inconsistencies and errors.
- Continuously evaluate existing processes to identify automation opportunities.
Data Operations and Support
- Support YouTube channel list generation and audits based on specific client or product guidelines.
- Assist in data quality control, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Collaborate with the Product Manager and Data Solutions team to enhance tools and reporting workflows.
- Provide technical assistance for process optimization and internal tool development.
Content Strategy & Analysis Support
- Conduct audits and analysis on YouTube channel data to identify trends and insights.
- Contribute to improving content classification and review processes through automation.
- Manage multiple automation and data analysis projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in programming, process automation, or data analysis.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Google Apps Script (knowledge of APIs and automation frameworks is a plus).
- Experience building automated workflows or scripts for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
- Strong skills in Google Sheets, MS Excel, and Looker Studio integration or scripting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet multiple deadlines.
- Fluent in English with strong communication and documentation skills.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
