Bookkeeper / Accountant (AR/AP) — Remote, Part-to-Full-Time
We're a U.S.-based HVAC and plumbing company looking for a sharp, reliable bookkeeper/accountant for a long-term remote engagement. Starting part-time (20–25 hrs/wk) with a strong path to full-time as we grow.
What you'll own:
Daily bookkeeping and monthly reconciliations in QuickBooks Online
Accounts receivable and accounts payable management
Job costing — tracking and reporting profitability per job/project
Payroll processing and weekly commission calculations
Monthly financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
You're a fit if you:
Have 8+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
Are highly confident in QuickBooks Online
Have handled job costing in a service-based or trade business
Have calculated commissions before (weekly cadence)
Communicate clearly in English and work independently
Nice to have: Experience supporting U.S. businesses, familiarity with U.S. payroll/tax basics, background in construction, trades, or field-service industries.
