Position Description
You will serve as a TOOL CONTROL PROGRAM SPECIALIST in the INDUSTL SUPPLY DIV, MRO LOGISTICS DEPT of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
- You will review, approve/disapprove and forward to the Tool Room all requests for the purchase of new, first time, non-replacement tools.
- You will monitor and maintain awareness of asset availability, purchase expenditures, and budget status to support operations of the tool control program.
- You will investigate and approve/disapprove all requests to modify, add, or delete tools to/from existing tool containers.
- You will provide guidance and instruction to Tool Room branch head, supervisors and provide technical guidance in the implementation and operational processes of the tool control program.
