Job Summary
Responsible for performing a variety of HR-related duties and works closely with senior HR
management. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, recruitment, policy implementation, and compliance with employment laws.
Job Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating hiring processes.
- Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
Employee Relations
- Serves as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Address employee relation issues, such as harassment, allegations, work complaints, or other employee concerns.
- Conduct investigations and provide recommendations for resolution.
Benefits Administration
- Administer various employee benefits programs, such as group health, flexible spending accounts, dental and vision, accident and disability, life insurance, and wellness benefits.
- Assists employees with benefits enrollment and address any questions or issues.
Performance Management
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems.
- Support managers in conducting performance appraisals and setting performance goals.
- Provide guidance on performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions.
Training And Development
- Identify training needs and coordinate training programs for employees.
- Assist in the development and implementation of employee development programs.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain and update employee records and HRIS (Human Resource Information System) data.
- Prepare and submit required compliance reports.
Policy Implementation
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures.
Education Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management
Relevant Experience
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in HR, preferably in the financial industry
