Our client is a company based in Canada and is a chain of retail beauty supply stores that was established in 2012. They are Canada’s premier retailer of hair extensions, hair care products, skin care products and related accessories with physical retail stores across Ontario.


About the Role


In this role, your primary responsibility will be to support accurate financial and operational record-keeping by maintaining updates in NetSuite and related tracking systems. You will help ensure transactions, expenses, and supporting documents are properly recorded, organized, and kept up to date for smooth accounting and reporting processes.


Responsibilities

  • Update inventory in NetSuite upon receipt of goods and record corresponding payables in the Accounts Payable (A/P) list
  • Record general expenses and utility bills in NetSuite and maintain updates in the A/P list
  • Prepare credit card expense reports and reconcile transactions with NetSuite bank data
  • Update Brinks sheets to reflect daily cash sales, including timing and amount of cash deposits
  • Maintain and update the reimbursements folder based on submitted forms and corresponding Google Sheet records
  • Upload and organize invoices in Google Drive for proper documentation and accessibility
  • Create vendor credit memos for returned goods or processed refunds
  • Follow up on and track donation tax receipts to ensure timely completion and filing


Competencies and Qualifications

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting support, or a similar finance/admin role
  • Working knowledge of NetSuite or similar accounting/ERP systems is an advantage
  • Experience in Accounts Payable processes and basic inventory recording is a must
  • Diploma/certifications in Finance or Accounting is preferred
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets and GDrive for documentation and tracking
  • Experience handling expense reports, credit card reconciliations, and bank matching
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial records
  • Good organizational and follow-up skills, especially for tracking invoices and receipts
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a structured workflow
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and vendors
