Requirements
- Create and develop designs in line with client procedures, specifications, and industry standards.
- Prepare, review, and update fabrication drawings / shop drawings, ensuring dimensional accuracy and compliance.
- Generate detailed 2D/3D drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) as per project requirements.
- Perform design calculations, tolerance checks, and material selection based on engineering standards.
- Ensure adherence to GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and drafting standards.
- Coordinate with design, production, and quality teams for seamless project execution and issue resolution.
- Facilitate design validations, revision control, and version management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate technical queries, clarifications, and updates effectively with overseas clients and stakeholders.
- Support prototype evaluation, testing feedback, and design improvements where required.
- Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability, cost-efficiency, and installation feasibility.
- Follow ISO standards and implement quality-driven processes in all deliverables.
- Maintain and monitor project reports, time sheets, and technical documentation.
- Identify risks, troubleshoot design challenges, and propose effective solutions proactively.
- Work independently with strong ownership while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
