SuperCom is looking for an enthusiastic, collaborative, and highly motivated System Administrator to join our team.
This role is primarily focused on system administration and infrastructure, with exposure to DevOps-related practices such as automation and process improvement.
We are looking for a technically driven and naturally curious professional who communicates clearly and works well with others, builds strong relationships, simplifies complex issues, documents work effectively, and takes a proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving.
The position includes:
- Build, maintain, and support mission-critical, highly available VMware-based environments running Windows systems
- Manage Active Directory across all customer environments, including user accounts, security groups, group policies, permissions, and access control
- Monitor the health and availability of customer production environments, identify issues, respond to alerts, and ensure system uptime
- Handle the full lifecycle of SSL certificates, including renewals, installation, and ongoing monitoring across environments
- Implement, document, and audit firewall rules to ensure proper access control and security compliance
- Configure and maintain load balancer settings and DNS records across customer environments
- Perform ongoing server maintenance, including Windows Server updates, patching, reboots, and health checks
- Contribute to standardizing IT processes and improving operational consistency across regions
- Document recurring tasks and create runbooks to ensure processes are repeatable and auditable
- Configure and maintain physical IT infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, firewalls, and networking components
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in system administration or IT operations
- Proven experience working with infrastructure environments, including virtualization (VMware / ESXi), backup and recovery solutions (such as Veeam), and storage systems (SAN/NAS, LUN provisioning, iSCSI/Fibre Channel, RAID, capacity planning)
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server environments, including RDP, IIS, Windows services, event logs, patching, and general server maintenance
- Experience with monitoring systems and a strong troubleshooting mindset, with the ability to analyze alerts, identify issues, and resolve problems in a structured and methodical way
- Strong working-level English, both spoken and written, with the ability to communicate, document, and collaborate with international teams
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN, with the ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Experience building and installing physical IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking equipment
- Experience with Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Experience with SQL Server Always On Availability Groups – an advantage
- Experience managing SSL/TLS certificates – an advantage
- Experience working with Jenkins – an advantage
- Basic scripting skills (PowerShell or similar) – an advantage
- Familiarity with SQL Server tools and basic queries – an advantage
- Exposure to CI/CD processes, Git, or automation tools – an advantage
- Relevant certifications such as AZ-900, CompTIA Network+, or ITIL Foundation – an advantage
