About The Role
We are seeking a talented Project Engineer to join our team at Grandspan Development Corporation in Binangonan Rizal. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects, overseeing all technical and operational aspects from start to finish. This is a contract position, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects within our dynamic organisation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to address technical issues and ensure seamless project delivery
- Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and identify and resolve any challenges that arise
- Prepare and review technical documents, such as construction plans, specifications, and reports
- Collaborate with the design team to provide technical input and support
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians, and support their professional development
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field
- Professional Licence in Civil Engineering is required at the time of application
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar role within the construction industry
- A minimum of 5 years' experience specifically in steel fabrication and construction is required
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with project management software and tools, such as Primavera or MS Project
- Intermediate experience in Project Management and proficiency with MS Office applications
- Registered as a Civil/Structural Engineer is preferred
