The Market risk team at LDC is responsible for producing quantitative market risk metrics along with qualitative assessment of potential risks to the company portfolio due to changes in market conditions. You will work closely with traders, risk managers, and other stakeholders to provide analysis, report risk metrics, and develop insights into market movements.

Main Responsibilities:

• Independently run and validate daily Market Risk calculations, including VaR and key risk metrics, ensuring data integrity, model stability, and timely delivery.
• Perform first-level analysis of VaR movements, identifying key drivers (price, positions, volatility) and escalating material changes with clear explanations to Management or Platform Risk Managers.
• Conduct deep-dive analysis on market exposures, linking risk movements to market fundamentals (e.g., price trends, supply/demand changes, basis movements).
• Generate and distribute daily risk reports to senior management, summarizing risk exposures, key metrics (e.g., Value at Risk (VaR), Margin Call Exposure), and historical trend analyses.
• Act as a key point of contact for various stakeholders, providing timely insights, challenging assumptions where appropriate, and supporting risk-informed decision-making.
• Continuously enhance and streamline risk reporting, improving transparency, consistency, and relevance to business decisions.
• Support and drive enhancements to risk tools, dashboards, and reporting frameworks, improving usability, efficiency, and data visibility across platforms.
• Contribute to enhancements in risk models and methologies (e.g. VaR assumptions, stress testing approaches)
• Explore and apply AI and data analytics tools to improve risk monitoring, anomaly detection, and reporting efficiency.

Experiences:

• Prior experience in financial analysis or related roles is preferred, with exposure to physical and/or derivatives markets considered an advantage. Familiarity with commodities trading and market risk is a plus.
• Familiarity with market risk concepts and metrics, such as Value at Risk (VaR), stress testing, and exposure analysis, with the ability to interpret and explain risk movements.
• Exposure to risk systems, data analysis tools, or reporting platforms (e.g.,Python, Power BI, or similar) to support risk monitoring and reporting processes.
• Experienced in designing data modelling/analytics.
• Exposure to process improvement, automation, or data-driven initiatives (including use of analytics tools or AI-assisted workflows) to enhance risk reporting and monitoring efficiency.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience; strong programming skills are highly valued.

• Strong understanding of statistical and financial risk models, including practical application in risk measurement (e.g.VaR, stress testing, scenario analysis) and interpretation of outputs in a business context.
• Strong Programming skills in data analysis and automation tools such as Python, SAS, Java, HTML or similar, with the ability to analyze large datasets, improve workflows, and support automation initiatives.
• Experience in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI), with the ability to build interactive dashboards and translate complex risk metrics into clear insights.

The Master Data team contributes to transforming finance processes and systems on a global scale. As part of our Global Finance Processes & Systems Optimization team (FPSO), you’ll be at the forefront of digitalizing our operations and driving the adoption of cutting-edge technologies like SAP S/4 HANA, Ariba, and PowerBi. You’ll play a pivotal role in our finance transformation journey. 

In this dynamic role, you’ll lead the expansion of our Master Data Management (MDM) model in Asia, enriching content, and ensuring top-notch quality controls. With LDC Group’s ambitious systems modernization roadmap and analytics digitization plan, you’ll be instrumental in validating core master data integration across various applications (Front & Back Offices, CRM) during rollouts, replacements, migrations, and M&A initiatives. You’ll also model new master data references and processes, ensuring robust governance. 

Collaborating closely with Data Technology & Analytics (DT&A) department (responsible for developments, configuration, and data migration operations), MDM Shared Business Services (SBS) (in charge of master data maintenance), as well as FPSO members from other streams, you’ll ensure the successful implementation and adoption of data standards and processes by business stakeholders. You will also act as the keeper of the Group practices and solutions and propose continuous improvements to fit business needs.  You’ll coordinate different on-going systems implementation projects in your respective master data scope. 

Main Responsibilities 

We are looking for a Master Data Business Process Owner for the Asia region to lead the following activities: 

Project Execution & Coordination 

• Coordinates across teams (Business, Rollout, Migration team) to ensure alignment on planning, mapping, and reconciliation 

• Coordinate resolution and questions within the BPO team and across teams as necessary 

• Manage resources (if assigned) 

• Leads status reporting on migration and cleansing activities  

• Uses standardized templates and Jira for tracking migration steps  

Data Migration 

• Acts as the central point for executing migration activities in sync with SAP S/4 Hana implementation program (BOLD) and front offices Data Migration Leads. 

• Overseas the full migration lifecycle: scoping, data collection, transformation, loading, and reconciliation  

• Validate approach for master data definition across systems and for migration activities including quality & consistency controls. 

• Review and validate pre- and post-migration data quality checks, especially for counterparties (e.g., name, address, tax ID, bank details)  

• Coordinates Group Master Data System (EBX) checks and data loads, ensuring proper interfacing with BOLD systems  

• Aligns with EBX Migration Team and MDM Business Process Owner for validation and publication of master data  

Data Integration 

• Acts as the central point for gap analysis for integrating MDM core model across applications (Front & back offices mainly) while understanding specific local requirements 

• Ensures compliance with MDM Core Model processes and country-specific requirements 

• Participates in Back & Front office Design decisions.  

• Collect and Validate Requirements: Gather and confirm requirements from business stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational needs. 

• Collaborate with DT&A: Work closely with DT&A to develop a data model that meets the requirements of all stakeholders. 

• Drive gap resolution, identified during projects and continuous improvement activities by assessing their impact on the global Core model. Analyze and resolve specific local process and data requirements in collaboration with business and project teams with the support from MDM BPO. 

User Support & Change management 

• Train and Activate: Provide training to all impacted stakeholders and oversee the activation of new processes. Support the BPO team in understanding and presenting the MDM Core model and processes to local teams and facilitate knowledge sharing among MDM BPO team members. 

• Ensure Hypercare Support: Manage the hyper care period by offering quick solutions and support to users. 

The employee should have a good understanding of Master Data, appetite to interact with cross-functional & various project teams and have a strong process knowledge (best practices, key controls etc). He/She should also have a solid experience on IT projects, ideally related to Master Data processes for Accounting, Treasury, and Controlling. 

Experience 

7 years minimum of strong operational experience ideally mixing: 

• Master Data experience (processes, model, control framework, governance) across business applications (with strong focus on SAP) & other integration tools  

• Experience in IT projects: functional end-to-end process / organization / methodology design & deployment, project management and integration with other projects 

• Understanding of underlying system architecture, IT tools and IT implications 

• Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other business organizations; successful experience in working with diverse groups of people in a problem-solving environment.

Context of the Mission:

Louis Dreyfus Company (LDC) is a global leader in the processing of agricultural products and the merchandising of a diverse range of commodities. Founded and based in Europe, LDC has a strong presence in North and South America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. To support the growing needs for corporate reporting and analysis, LDC is implementing a new back-office solution based on SAP S/4 under the program named BOLD – BackOffice Louis Dreyfus. This role offers the opportunity to develop skills related to LDC’s core financial business processes within the S/4 Hana solution and to play a pivotal role in our ambitious SAP program.

Mission:

As a Business Analyst, you will ensure the effective implementation of business processes in our back-office systems. You will be the end-to-end owner of one or several key IT solutions within Back-Office Services, aligning the delivery roadmap, innovation pipeline, and continuous improvement plan with business needs. You will ensure support structures and run KPIs are maintained, and you will collaborate closely with business process owners (BPOs) or functional heads to prioritize initiatives.

In addition to the responsibilities outlined above, the primary mission of the Business Analyst will be to oversee the deployment of the finance core model for rollout. This involves:

• Coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of the finance core model into the countries’ operations.
• Managing the project timeline and resources to achieve the successful implementation of the finance core model within the specified deadlines.
• Ensuring compliance with local regulations and financial standards during the deployment process.
• Providing training and support to local teams to facilitate the adoption of the new finance core model.
• Monitoring and evaluating the performance of the finance core model post-deployment to ensure it meets business requirements and KPIs.

This role is critical to the success of the countries’ rollout and requires a high level of expertise in financial processes, project management, and stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Delivery & Management:

• Develop and manage the solution delivery, ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Conduct an animated workshop to provide detailed presentations, step-by-step guides, compliance training, hands-on sessions, and Q&A to ensure successful deployment and adoption of the finance core model.
• Ensure support structures and KPIs are maintained.
• Act as the primary point of contact for aligning solution priorities with BPOs and functional heads.

Governance & Strategy:

• Develop strategies, initiatives, and communication plans to maximize value, adoption, and satisfaction of the solution.
• Own the delivery and associated metrics (e.g., SLA).
• Manage enhancement requests and prioritize them in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Handle support escalations at level 3 when necessary to ensure continuity.

Stakeholder Management:

• Collaborate with vendors to ensure expected performance levels.
• Ensure business analysts effectively address requirements from business partners/BPO networks.
• Oversee and control any implementation impacting your solution, managing dependencies with other solutions.

Documentation & Change Management:

• Ensure documentation is up-to-date.
• Manage the transition to Run phase.
• Work closely with various departments to design cross-application flows and ensure process maintenance and enhancement.
