This growth-oriented position will have the primary responsibility of providing the full range of fund administration services to real estate clients. This individual will be responsible for understanding and applying current accounting principles to the accounting and financial reporting of funds and for reviewing transaction and valuation information.  A partial list of responsibilities and skills includes:

• Primary contact to client on daily operational, issue discussion and any other request
• Review of Net Asset Value calculation and associated reporting.
• Review investor capital activities, annual financial audit and other statutory reporting.
• Maintain a working understanding of fund documentation(s) and apply the terms to the financial reporting and the income and expense allocations.
• Maintain a working knowledge of current accounting principles and developing solutions for issues
• Liaise with banks, auditors, brokers and custodians to ensure smooth service delivery to clients and timely completion of deliverables
• Involved in new funds on-boarding process
• Resolve issues/queries raised clients in a timely manner and maintain a high level of client satisfaction
• Identify and highlight opportunities for internal process improvement and increase in operational efficiency
• Responsible of work allocation and team utilisation. Assist on coordination of resources and make sure that appropriate cross training and coverage is in place to meet client and organizational expectations for deliverables.
• Participate in company and client initiatives outside of normal deliverables and responsibilities
• Perform other duties as assigned and incidental to the work described above

Reporting to the Associate Director, Investor Operations, a list of your responsibilities will include:

• Support the quality control review process of daily deliverables following company and department policies and procedures relating to investor registration, dealing, reporting and cash
• Be a main contact for daily client inquiries and deliverables within your team, striving to complete deliverables within Service level agreements, escalate any client or deliverable issues where required and appropriate
• Respond to queries from Clients, Investors, Fund Managers or internal MUFG Departments following a high-quality standard, and provide assistance and guidance to the team members in query responses
• Through experience, provide guidance to colleagues within the team in daily tasks, processes and deliverables
• Participate in regular team check-in meetings/calls sharing information, ideas and supporting colleagues in a positive team culture
• Support management in department initiatives, projects, risk mitigation

We’re growing our onboarding and data implementation capabilities as more clients move onto MUFG’s platform, and we need someone who can take ownership of this critical work. In this role, you’ll lead the setup and migration of fund and client data, making sure everything is accurate, compliant, and delivered on time.

You’ll work closely with teams across the business to bring new funds live smoothly and improve how we do things along the way. Your work will directly shape the client experience at one of the most important moments in their journey with us.

What You’ll Own

• Lead end-to-end system setups and static data configuration for new fund launches and client onboarding
• Manage complex conversions, including data migration, reinitialization, and system reconfiguration
• Build and maintain accurate fund structures using offering documents and best practices
• Analyze NAV and share registry data to identify and resolve discrepancies before go-live
• Coordinate conversion plans and timelines with internal teams, keeping everyone aligned and informed
• Champion data quality by ensuring all setups meet internal standards and regulatory requirements (ISAE/SOC)
• Create and refine standard operating procedures to simplify and scale onboarding processes
• Partner with Technology and Product teams to automate and improve how client and investor data is managed

• Requesting appropriate AML documentation from investors in MUFG administered funds;
• Liaising with investors and clients through written communication on a periodic basis until all appropriate AML documentation has been obtained;
• Maintaining an overview of complete and incomplete AML records and ensuring action is taken to complete all AML records;
• Timely follow up on pending AML requests keeping compliance with MUFG escalation and follow up procedures;
• Maintenance and safe keeping of AML files and trackers in line with MUFG’s data policies
• Liaising with internal Investor & Client Operations teams on a regular basis and responding to AML related queries
• Ensuring queries and emails, both internally and externally, are responded to in a timely and accurate manner;
• Clearing and/or investigating/verifying possible matches as generated by MUFG application used to screen investors and associated parties against sanctions list, adverse media and PEP association lists
• Handling and escalating complex queries and complaints in accordance with company policy;
• Preparing investor files for review by the Senior Manager, Compliance or MLRO;
• Any other ad-hoc duties, as requested;
