The team you will be part of
The Brand Management Team is the trusted partner for leading brands across Southeast Asia in strategic planning and driving sustainable online business growth. By analyzing performance, identifying opportunities, and aligning with our clients' commercial objectives, the team develops and executes data-backed strategies that maximize conversion and revenue. With a strong grasp of category dynamics and platform trends, and driving collaboration and coordination across other functions internally, Brand Management plays a key role in shaping long-term brand success in the digital commerce space.
The part you will play
As an Assistant Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for the day- to-day commercial and operational success of CPD brands across Malaysia’s leading e- marketplaces (Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop). This role is designed for a high-energy “doer” who can balance commercial negotiations with rigorous operational follow-through to ensure our brands are always available, visible, and competitive.
As an Assistant Key Account Manager, you will take charge of
Account Management & Commercial Execution
- Drive the daily sales performance for assigned platforms to meet monthly and quarterly GMV targets.
- Execute the promotional calendar, ensuring campaigns are set up accurately and on time.
- Manage the backend of e-marketplaces (Seller Centres), and oversee product uploads, pricing updates, and voucher creations.
Operational Excellence & Store Health
- Inventory Management: Closely monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Supply Chain team to ensure timely replenishment, especially for top-selling products.
- Store Metrics: Maintain “Perfect Store” standards by monitoring Chat Response Rates, Shipping Lead Times, and Seller Ratings to ensure it remains a preferred seller.
- Content Maintenance: Ensure all product listings have optimized titles, descriptions, and high-quality images/banners that comply with brand guidelines.
Campaign Operations & Visibility
- Coordinate with the design and marketing teams to ensure all digital assets (banners, landing pages) are localized and uploaded correctly for every campaign.
- Monitor on-platform search rankings and visibility, ensuring our products are easy for consumers to find.
- Execute submissions and participate in platform-led marketing initiatives to maximize traffic.
Data Tracking & Reporting
- Provide weekly and monthly reports on sales performance, traffic, and conversion rates.
- Monitor competitor pricing and promotional activities daily, providing quick feedback to the commercial team.
- Track and reconcile trade spend (marketing investments and discounts) to ensure budget compliance.
Partner Relations
- Maintain a professional working relationship with platform Category Managers to secure better visibility and campaign slots.
- Work closely with the warehouse and logistics partners to troubleshoot any fulfillment or delivery issues.
What we are looking for - the ideal profile
- Experience: 2–4 years of experience in E-commerce operations or account management. Experience in FMCG or high-volume retail is a plus.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Shopee Seller Centre, Lazada Business Advisor, and/or TikTok Shop Seller Center is essential.
- Operational Rigor: Highly organized with a "zero-defect" mindset regarding pricing and stock management.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) to manage large sets of SKU data and sales reports.
- Mindset: A proactive problem-solver who is comfortable with the fast-paced, sometimes unpredictable nature of e commerce logistics and campaign cycles.
- Communication: Strong command of English. (Local language skills are a bonus but not a mandatory requirement for this specific profile).
