PURPOSE OF THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB

As a sales leader for IKEA Malaysia, you will take ownership for a specific portfolio of HFBs to drive long term sales growth and optimise profitability across your range. You have a deep understanding of your product range, your national market & competition, your consumers, and your internal commercial opportunities. You will develop and create commercial actions, secure competitive pricing and ensure the preconditions are in place to deliver our volume commitments to the total IKEA value chain.

The Cargo Sales Senior Executive plays a key role in supporting Turkish Cargo’s daily sales activities, rate management, and booking operations. The role ensures timely and accurate handling of customer enquiries, reservations, and partner airline coordination to deliver efficient cargo movement and maintain service quality.

• Monitor shipment records and ensure alignment between rate quotations, bookings, and system data.
• Handle daily booking requests, ad-hoc rates, and follow up on booking status.

• Lead direct negotiations with landowners, land agents, and land aggregators on land acquisition terms, lease structures, and heads of agreement.
• Identify and pursue commercially attractive land parcels suitable for utility-scale ground mount and floating solar development above 15MW.
• Build and maintain a strong network of landowner and agent relationships across Peninsular Malaysia to support ongoing pipeline origination.

• Software: Experience with Oracle NetSuite is a significant advantage.
