Jacobs Douwe Egberts Research and Development (R&D) is part of the Global JDE organization. R&D is the major contributor to the development of innovative coffee, tea, cereal and NDC products and is constantly optimizing the product portfolio. Focus of R&D is on building technology platforms, new products, portfolio renovations and productivity initiatives. Projects are carried out together with Marketing, Operations and Procurement delivering Product and Packaging Specifications which are the single most critical output of R&D.

The PLM Specialist reports into the PLM Team Lead. They are responsible for maintenance of an effective and efficient specification system for product lifecycle management. They support the R&D team in their work developing new specifications. The PLM Specialist is part of the team responsible for the maintenance of the PLM system within APAC and will support the implementation of the new PLM Software. Take the lead on in-depth actual variance analysis around purchase prices, material productivity and conversion costs.
