Pay's okay, but benefits need work for a tech startup
It's a solid place to work as a Software Engineer, especially remote. The pay is competitive, but don't expect top-tier benefits like bigger companies.
Base pay for a Software Engineer here is pretty competitive for a startup. I was working remote from Seattle, and the unlimited PTO was a solid perk. It's not bad for a growing company in the e-commerce AI space.
Honestly, the health insurance options weren't great, and the 401k match is super low. Other tech companies definitely offer better benefits packages. It's a letdown, given the decent salary.
Re-evaluate the benefits package, especially health insurance and 401k matching. It'd help attract and retain top talent for our e-commerce AI solutions.
