Pay is okay, but benefits could improve.

Andrade Gutierrez S.A. offers decent base pay, especially for civil engineering roles, but there's room for improvement in overall benefits and annual compensation increases.

Pros

As a Civil Engineer, the base salary was competitive for large construction firms in São Paulo. They offer a solid health plan for employees and dependents, which is a big plus.

Cons

Annual raises felt pretty small, especially with inflation, making it tough to feel like your compensation grows. The bonus structure isn't very transparent for project roles, and the retirement plan options could be more robust compared to other global engineering companies.

Advice to Management

Consider clearer bonus metrics and enhance the retirement contribution plans to attract and retain top talent in infrastructure development. Regular market adjustments for salaries would also help.

Leadership is a Mixed Bag, Needs Clarity
Pros: Some project managers are great mentors. I've learned a lot about heavy construction methods from experienced leads. There's a solid commitment to safety protocols on infrastructure projects, which is important for us onsite staff.
Cons: Top leadership often changes direction too fast for our Rio de Janeiro office. It makes planning tough for Civil Engineer roles. Decision-making for big corporate projects feels slow, which impacts project timelines and team morale.
Advice to Management: Focus on creating a more consistent vision and improving communication from senior leadership down to the project teams. Better transparency would help us all.
