Leadership Team Needs More Direction
It's a tough environment at this fintech startup, especially with leadership. The day-to-day for a Financial Analyst is okay, but there's a lot of uncertainty from the top.
You get decent exposure to the financial services industry if you're willing to learn on your own. My team in the New York City office was generally supportive and we worked well together.
Leadership often changes their minds, which makes planning hard. There's not much clear vision for junior finance roles. It feels like they're just reacting instead of leading.
Try to create a clearer roadmap for the company. Communicate decisions better and stick to them for more than a few weeks. It would really help morale.
