Flexible Gig Work, But Culture is Pretty Hands-Off
DataAnnotation offers great flexibility for those in AI training, but don't expect a typical corporate culture or much team interaction. It's mostly about completing tasks on your own time and can feel pretty isolated.
I've worked as an AI Trainer fully remote from home, which is huge. You set your own hours for data annotation projects. It's a solid way to earn extra cash if you're good at self-managing in a WFH setup.
The company culture is pretty non-existent. There's not much team interaction, so it can feel isolated from other AI Trainers. Project availability isn't always consistent, which makes planning for stable income tough.
Maybe try some virtual meetups or more direct communication channels for AI Trainers. It would help build a sense of community and connection on this gig economy platform.
