About the Role
The Regional Business Lead supports Hepmil Media Group’s commercial expansion across Southeast Asia by driving new business opportunities, regional pitches, and strategic partnerships. You will play a key role in identifying new clients, building strong relationships, and shaping commercial proposals that bring Hepmil’s content, creator, and social commerce products to life. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role suited for a commercially driven individual who’s strategic, persuasive, and passionate about the creator economy, creator-led marketing and social media.
Key Responsibilities
1. Regional Client Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across key markets (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines)
- Conduct outbound prospecting — from researching leads and initiating contact to securing pitch meetings
- Build and nurture strong relationships with brand and agency decision-makers across verticals (FMCG, beauty, tech, lifestyle, travel, finance)
- Support the Regional Head in maintaining a healthy and diversified sales pipeline
2. Pitching & Proposal Development
- Collaborate with Creative Strategy, Creator Partnerships, and Content teams to develop compelling proposals and campaign recommendations
- Craft client presentations, pitch decks, and pricing proposals that reflect both creative quality and commercial soundness
- Lead selected pitch presentations, demonstrating confidence, insight, and market understanding
- Gather feedback post-pitch to refine Hepmil’s product positioning and sales approach
3. Product Commercialization (Content, Creator, Social Commerce)
- Work closely with the Regional Head of BD and Product teams to bring new commercial products to market
- Content: Scale branded content offerings across Hepmil’s owned media (SGAG, MGAG, PGAG, MRCI)
- Creator: Strengthen Hepmil Creators’ Network positioning through new influencer programs, performance packages, and creative partnerships
- Social Commerce: Support development of commerce-led activations (TikTok Shop, XiaoHongShu, YouTube Shopping, etc) that convert awareness into measurable sales.
- Identify cross-market opportunities to package Hepmil’s offerings for regional or multi-country campaigns
- Collect market feedback and client needs to inform future product iterations
4. Commercial Planning & Margin Tracking
- Support commercial forecasting, deal structuring, and revenue tracking in collaboration with the Finance and Operations teams
- Ensure all pitches and proposals align with Hepmil’s profitability and pricing frameworks
- Track deal margins and work with internal teams to maintain healthy commercial performance across campaigns
5. B2B Marketing & Brand Visibility
- Represent Hepmil at client meetings, industry events, and networking sessions to strengthen the company’s market visibility
- Contribute to case studies, success stories, and client testimonials that showcase Hepmil’s capabilities.
- Support the Regional Head in executing B2B marketing initiatives such as trade events, client workshops, and co-marketing partnerships
6. Regional Collaboration & Team Alignment
- Partner with local Business Development and Account teams across markets to align on pitches, pricing, and client acquisition strategies
- Ensure learnings, best practices, and success stories are shared across regional teams
- Work collaboratively across departments (Accounts, Creator Team, Creative Strategy) to deliver a cohesive client experience
Requirements
- Over 6 years of experience in client servicing, business development, partnerships, or account management roles (preferably in media, digital, content, or creator-focused industries)
- Experience working with regional stakeholders and cross-cultural teams in SEA
- Strong understanding of the media and advertising landscape, especially social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Xiaohongshu etc.)
- Passion for creator-led content, social media trends, and digital innovation
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong negotiation and commercial judgment
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-moving environment
- Comfortable with travel across Southeast Asia
