JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title : B2C Transport Supervisor
Department/Section : Transport, Grocery Logistic of Singapore
Report To : Department Executive of Manager
BASIC FUNCTION:
To run day-to-day last miles deliveries, and achieve the KPIs set for transport operations.
To plan and execute daily work efficiently, and achieve high productivity and accuracy.
To observe and give feedback on the process for optimization.
To train and supervise subordinates, including outsourced transporters and drivers.
To perform deliveries as and when necessary in support of operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administrative Support
Assists the Department Executive to enforce all standing policies and procedures as established.
Ensures all rules and regulations are strictly complied with.
Prepares and submits all necessary reports and documents to the Department Executive on time.
Maintains proper records of documents and correspondence.(Both internal and external)
Maintains and upkeeps of working equipment and tools properly.
To conduct analysis and monitoring of contractor performance to improve delivery KPI
Provide assistance and escalation support to handling customer service request
Provide accurate trip data to the billing team to support administrative processes.
Personnel
Checks and monitors staff attendance and punctuality, takes corrective actions if necessary.
Prepares and checks on staff overtime, meal and transport claims.
Maintains record of annual leave, medical leave and all other leaves.
Assists in all staff welfare related matters, such as medical claims, collection of payslips.
Assists to prepare the necessary documents for staff resignation and submit the relevant documents to the Department Executive on time.
Assists to organize recreational activities for staff in order to motivate the workforce.
Assists all staff in their queries on personnel or operational matters.
Supervisory Duties
Supervises subordinates in their daily work.
Trains, motivates and develops staff in improving their skills, knowledge and attitude.
Ensures neat appearance and proper conduct of section personnel.
Conducts performance appraisal review for all staff in the section for confirmation, promotion and annual review
Security and safety
Enforces security and safety measures and guidelines in the section.
Ensures proper control as established in existing policies and procedures.
Takes preventive measures to prevent shrinkage and undertakes measures to reduce shrinkage.
Conduct vehicle inspections on delivery vans to ensure they meet delivery standards for both food safety and roadworthiness.
Ensure contractors comply with safety standards within warehouse and loading area.

Able to work well with staff in order to foster good team spirit
Able to work well with staff so that they can perform their tasks in a way that maximizes productivity and foster company loyalty and commitment.
Able to supervise, motivate and retains staff effectively.
Ensures efficient and prompt delivery service to minimize Late or Non-deliveries.
Ensures punctuality in processing and dispatching all relevant documents.
Ensures no unsafe work practices are permitted or being carried out in the workplace.
Ensures that yearly objectives set at time of appraisal are constantly reviewed and corrective actions taken to meet those objectives.
Job Requirements
Requirement
A diploma in logistics, engineering or business related field. (Preferred)
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in supervisory role or a related field.
Proven experience in last miles delivery
Excellent documentation skills.
Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
Experience in leading and developing top performing teams.
Class 3/3A driving license. (Preferred)
Proficient in Excel.
