The Role
- Develop embedded software (C/C++) close to the hardware layer based on FreeRTOS
- Implement control logic, tasks, and communication interfaces
- Contribute to a modular and clear software architecture
- Ensure code quality through reviews, static analysis, and unit tests
- Conduct tests directly on machines and develop SIL-tests
- Analyze and optimize performance, memory, and real-time behavior
- Collaborate closely with hardware and system engineering teams
What You'll Need
- Degree in Computer Science, System Engineering, Electronics or a related field
- Several years of experience in embedded development with C/C++
- Knowledge of real-time operating systems (ideally FreeRTOS)
- Understanding of performance and memory optimization
- Experience with Unit-tests, ideally also with SIL- or HIL-tests
- Proficient with Git and Continuous Integration
- Structured and independent working style
- Good German and English language skills
