Our client, a cutting-edge AI infrastructure startup based in Brooklyn are scaling, rapidly following significant funding and explosive product growth, and looking for 2x Systems Engineers. The client are now biasing "scrapp" generalist engineers, those with instincts for both Software and systems who can write backend product code, not just operate infra.
Overview of role:
You'll be joining a highly technical team of just 4 engineers, working directly with the CTO/Founder to build and scale their AI identity and memory platform. You'll own reliability, scalability, cloud infrastructure, observability, and platform performance while solving and building real-world scaling challenges as the platform grows. This isn't maintaining someone else's cloud setup, it's architecting something new at the intersection of distributed systems and LLMs

Salary: Up to $250,000 +Equity

Experience
- 3+ years in Platform, Infrastructure, SRE, or DevOps Engineering
- Scaled production cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, and/or Azure)
- Strong K8s, Docker, containerisation
- Python backend engineering
- Observability / monitoring
- Comfortable working in high-growth startup environments
Nice to have:
- GenAI or ML infra experience
- Node.js / JavaScript backend development
