Overview
LABUR is partnering with a client to find a Senior Software Engineer, Platform Engineering to join a team focused on building scalable solutions that drive growth. This team leverages a broad range of modern technologies to deliver high-quality, innovative software and thrives on moving fast, delivering value, and operating with boldness, humility, and accountability. This person needs at least 5-7 years of experience delivering innovative software solutions that are scalable, secure, and easy to maintain. The ideal person thrives in team settings, enjoys collaboration, and focuses on delivering value and making an impact.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain web applications with a focus on secure authentication, single sign-on (SSO), and integrations between applications and Identity Providers
- Collaborate with Architects, Tech Leads, Product, and Design stakeholders to arrive at solutions that produce customer and business value
- Develop concise, articulate, and detailed technical documentation
- Apply Agile and Lean practices throughout the development lifecycle
- Design, build, and maintain automated tests (unit and integration) to ensure high code quality
- Support healthy system operations and ensure high levels of availability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
- 6+ years of software engineering experience
- Expertise building APIs with C# and .NET
- Experience developing event-driven systems leveraging Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies
- Experience with CQRS, Event Sourcing, or similar architectural approaches
- Experience with SQL and relational databases
- Experience interpreting and contributing to system design
- Fintech or financial services industry experience with working knowledge of financial regulators and their concerns
- Proven track record of teamwork and delivery
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with OpenID Connect (OIDC) and SAML workflows
- Experience with multiple server-side programming languages
- Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) or Domain Driven Design
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and managing application deployments
- Experience scaling systems to millions of users
- Working knowledge of the private market
Compensation
$85-$90/hr - Dependent on fit and experience
