What The Role Is
You are responsible for the planning, managing, and monitoring of material support for upgrading projects in the Digital and Intelligence Service (DIS).
What You Will Be Working On
- Work proactively with the Project Management Team (PMT), Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) Procurement and units to develop the material supply support concept and key milestones
- Raise Purchase Requests, manage material data codification, and monitor deliveries to ensure smooth project execution
- Reconcile project purchases to ensure seamless transition to Operation and Support (O&S)
- Drive data analytics and digitalisation efforts to automate the collation of material data and improve process efficiency
Challenge(s) - Working with a diverse group of stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of equipment across all projects
What We Are Looking For
- Education in any discipline
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Management, including Procurement and Logistics, is preferred
- Proficiency in project management and inventory management, with in-depth knowledge of procurement policies and procedures
- Proficiency in SAP, particularly in Material Master Data, Procurement, and Supply Management, will be an added advantage
- Strong attention to detail
