Able to vet general content (Children's/Sports/Lifestyle programmes) for IMDA Code compliance.
Working experience with digital editing systems (Dalet/Adobe Premiere) is advantageous.
Possess good English writing skills for effective communications with all stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines in a digital workspace.
Dynamic and resourceful with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure and respond effectively to operational challenges in a fast-paced broadcast environment.
To champion operational excellence by seamlessly integrating AI tools. Possess experience in AI driven solutions and automated workflows to drive content analysis and operational efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities
Edit and prepare programmes in line with IMDA code compliance requirements for broadcast on Free-To-Air TV Channels and on mewatch. Exercise sound editorial judgment in identifying potentially sensitive, non-compliant, or high-risk content relating to language, violence, race, religion, social issues, and age suitability.
Perform QC checks, enter accurate Media-logger (SOM/EOM) details and TXR programmes for broadcast.
Liaise with the Technical Support team and resolve issues with the Dalet and craft editing systems
Perform complex edits on the craft editing system (Adobe).
Ensure strict adherence to the standard operating procedures for a consistently high-quality output
Qualifications
Diploma in any discipline
3 to 5 years of working experience
Relevant experience in programme editing will be a strong advantage
Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet broadcast deadlines
Technically savvy with a keen interest in programme editing
Aware of local social and cultural sensitivities in our broadcast programmes
Highly adaptable with a proactive mindset, capable of managing operational demands while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
